First few days aboard our boat

We have been busy and haven't posted much. Finally getting the boat all organized and set up for living. If you have never done tiny living it is interesting figuring out exactly where you need everything. Then make that tiny space rock and roll and it makes it even more of a challenge. Plus we have been getting all our systems operational and cleaned. So as of today we are up at 100%. We have a small issue with rear ac not cooling enough and ac guy is getting us scheduled and a shower pump in forward head acting up a little. We still have more organizing to go and we know that the masssive tool room we have made the V-berth will have to go somewhere. Most of it will go back to KY once we know for sure what tools we need to keep to maintenance the boat. We have cooked 2 breakfast and 1 supper on boat and just sandwiches for lunch. We have now spent 3 nights sleeping on boat. Last night was our first interesting night as it was storming hard at 4 am and we weren't prepared. So at 4 am I got a shower outdoors style trying to secure and close up our canvas enclosure that was flapping in the wind. Dwight said not to worry with it but I was afraid we were going to damage or loose part of it. Not to count the new experience of rocking and banging the boat was doing tied to a dock as we tried to sleep. Everything turned out good and I always used to love playing in the rain as a kid. Nothing like a good cold rain shower at 4 am and being rocked to sleep. It is also storming and raining today so we are just taking it easy and enjoying our Starlink we now have set up. It is temporarily on the front deck and plan was to mount permanently today but weather has different ideas. I am glad we have chose staying at a marina initially to give us time to learn to live on this boat and get adjusted. Hoping we have everything situated in next couple days to take boat out sailing. Weather is going to be our hold up on that currently as weather are in a storm pattern for next week or so. We have witnessed people fishing on dock catch a baby Goliath grouper and a nurse shark plus other fish which has been awesome. We have our poles but have

These beds are not fun to make up. This was before we got everything unpacked and just had blankets thrown up there.

not had time yet to get them rigged for fishing. We will though over next couple weeks. Had a pair of manatees off the back of boat but of course at a time when neither of us had a phone or camera. We also have a resident Osprey that likes the mast on our neighbors boat. He sits on top of the owl on top of the mast and just watches everything and makes very loud calls. And everyone has been super friendly so we beginning to get to enjoy this part of liveaboard life. Just a few pictures from last couple days of sunsets and around in the boat. Need to take more photos or videos just haven't thought to do that and just been taking it all in.
